57 students from the Technical University of Freiberg with one goal: Building an electric racing car within a year

11. Aug 2012 | Creativity, innovation and technological progress are naturally very important to us and we are pleased to support young students of the Technical University of Freiberg in their Racetech-project. Aim of the racing team is to successfully participate in the "Formula Student" - an international student competition, that combines engineering and economics with racing.

Last month the new race car RTo6 successfully completed the first tests and test drives on the grounds of the Bosch plant in Schwieberdingen. Thus, no obstacles will stand in the way for a successful participation in the "Formula Student Germany" at Hockenheim from 31.07.-05.08.2012.

In the two disciplines autocross (obstacle course) and endurance (endurance race) over 22 km will be decided which of the 78 registered teams will in the end prevail with their self-designed race car.

We wish the Racetech Racing-Team good luck!

The Racetech Racing Team is in the 5th Place in the electric class! Thanks to consistently good scores in the static and dynamic disciplines and above all a constant driven through Endurance race the RTo6 achieved first success at this event.
