Groundbreaking ceremony in Jelcz-Laskowice

03. Nov 2014 | Together with Mayor Kazimierz Putyra and Plant Manager Luiza Bortkiewicz, MENTOR Managing Directors Wido Weyer and Erika Nesselrath-Sistu laid the cornerstone for the new production site of the MENTOR Group in Poland on 29 October 2014.

Since MENTOR Poland Sp. z o. o. was founded in 2011, this MENTOR subsidiary has been successfully manufacturing products in Jelcz-Laskowice for the automobile industry as well as many other industries. The first of several construction phases planned as part of a new plant with a production hall and administrative department is being developed here in Jelcz-Laskowice near Wrocław, formerly known as Breslau, on an area covering 20,000 square metres.

“We’re constantly expanding and further developing our production sites in Germany and abroad in a more targeted manner. After three years here in Poland, we can look back on the successful establishment of our production site and very dynamic development. This has prompted us to invest in further developing the site and in our own property that offers space for continued further expansion,” says Wido Weyer, managing partner at the MENTOR Group.
