Corona-Virus: Latest information for our customers, suppliers and applicants

01. Jul 2020 | The current situation around the corona virus requires all of us to act responsibly and take consistent measures. Our employees’, customers’ and partners’ health is our top priority at MENTOR. At the same time, we mean to ensure being a reliable partner to you, especially in these turbulent times.  


We take appropriate measures to ensure this. We’re limiting personal contacts as much as possible, rely on digital communication, asking employees to work remotely, offering extended working hours, and also closing our company on individual days - e.g. the next Fridays. 
 
In this way, we are sure that we are fulfilling our responsibility towards our employees, customers, suppliers and applicants and at the same time maintaining our operational level.  
 

Temporary company closing  

Our main factory and logistics centre in Erkrath and our subsidiary Weidmann in Pforzheim will be closed on the following days:

Information for customers 

For the reasons mentioned above, we are currently also reducing personal contact with our customers to a minimum - both at your premises and during visits to our company. Instead, we’re making use of telephone and video conferences and other digital means of communication. Please support us in this.

Information for suppliers 

We reduce the personal contact with the representatives of our suppliers to the absolute minimum. Visits are now only possible in exceptional cases and only after prior telephone consultation with your contact person. We ask you to refrain from all other visits. The delivery of goods is still possible at the ususal times to our logistics centre Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 7, 40699 Erkrath-Unterfeldhaus. Exception: Please note the temporary company closings.
 
  
Information for applicants 

In our HR department, too, we are constantly adapting our internal processes to the current situation in the context of the Corona crisis. For example, job interviews are currently only held if absolutely necessary. In case we may not be able to respond to your application within the normal time frame, we kindly ask for your patience. No application will go unprocessed. 

 
If necessary, we will adapt these measures and will keep you informed of the latest developments. We are convinced that with wise, far-sighted action and mutual support we will manage to overcome this crisis together and emerge from it stronger.
